About PISAspeak
PISAspeak is an extenstion of PISA, a DC-based organization that has built strong networks throughout the Asia Pacific Region over the past 25 years in areas of international affairs. PISA promotes global good governance, knowledge sharing, capacity development and education for a global mindset among activists, policy makers, and analysts in the Region. PISA sparks conversation, debate and an in-depth examination of the emerging issues of our day.
In the future, PISAspeak will explore several issues related to our organization, such as gender and international affairs, international development, international governance, leadership and crisis management, active learning methods of instruction, and international law. However, in light of the recent PISA Summer Institute on Global Climate Change (PSIGCC) in July 2009, PISAspeak will dedicate the following months to global climate change, focusing on the global complexity, interdependence and interrelatedness of underlying issues such as water and food security, population, energy and weather, disaster preparedness and urbanization, human security, social justice, public health and sustainable development.
PISA welcomes your questions, opinions and suggestions.
